Just thought I'd share a few links that fellow animators may find useful or interesting. :)
Animation Backgrounds
A blog filled with gorgeous backgrounds, pieced together and re-created from many popular movies and shows.
Animation Roadshow
A blog created and upkept by The Labyrinth bookstore in Toronto, ON.
As recommended by Ktshy on deviantArt:
Animation Podcast
The Animation Podcast is an amazing listen, host Clay Kaytis (Disney animator who's most recent credit is supervising the hamster in "Bolt") interviews a whole slew of Disney legends. You'll listen to the likes of Glen Keane (lead animator on Ariel, Aladdin, and Tarzan to name a few), Andreas Deja (Jafar, Hercules, Lilo), Nik Ranieri (Lumier, Hades, Kuzko), AND SO MUCH MORE! If you want to hear how these talented folks got into animation in the first place and gain little tips and tidbits of their animation knowledge, go listen!
Animation Meat
Animation Meat is an excellent tutorial source, with notes on storyboarding, layout, animation and a small collection of model sheets.
Cartoon Brew
Cartoon Brew is an animation blog, gives you the current goings-on in animation.
Cold Hard Flash
Cold Hard Flash is an animation news blog focused specifically on Flash Animation.
Asifa
Asifa is an animation archive with some amazing notes and a whole wealth of knowledge. Check out the "$100,000 Animation Drawing Course" on the right side link bar, it takes you to a collection of invaluable notes by Preston Blair on creating solidly constructed characters in animation and how to animate them properly.
Stuff!
I absolutely adore John K's blog. It's stuffed full of so much knowledge in animation and design...and it's always entertaining! (John K's the creator of "Ren & Stimpy" and the "Ripping Friends")
